Our Associated Institutes are established organisationally and legally independent from, but affiliated to Harz University. All of our Associated Institutes have successfully cooperated with local and nationwide businesses and are interested in research project inquiries.
The Associated Institutes offer a variety of development and consulting services in several areas of research, ranging from “classical” offers such as continuing education, meeting and convention planning, service & process management and automation & computer sciences to more specialised fields of research, for example fiber optics and sustainable tourism.
The Harzer Hochschulgruppe promotes both public and private research and development projects. Core competencies include research, consulting and continuing education for enterprises, public administration and public-law institutions.
PubliCConsult offers a range of services related to the field public administration, such as management of administrative modernisation workshops, eGovernment application and questionnaire design.
The Institute offers scientific services e.g. project management, realisation and coaching, training, consulting and expert opinions on software systems, communication systems, automation systems and environmental systems.
HarzOptics' research focuses on data transmission systems utilizing polymer optical fibers (POF) as transmission medium. The Institute offers lab equipment, consulting services and a distance education programme.
EITW specializes in an up-to-date focus on innovative project themes in meeting, incentive, convention and event management.
The main focus of the IfDP is to link scientific research and knowledge with practice. The Institute is experienced in measuring efficiency of organizations (and their units), possessing a broad expertise in the planning and realization of task-, process- and value added analysis.
The Institute brings tourism companies and associations as well as organizations together on topics of science and research in the tourism industry. The main research areas are: sustainable tourism, corporate social responsibility, international tourism and quality management in the service industries.
