Associated Institutes

Our Associated Institutes are established organisationally and legally independent from, but affiliated to Harz University. All of our Associated Institutes have successfully cooperated with local and nationwide businesses and are interested in research project inquiries.

The Associated Institutes offer a variety of development and consulting services in several areas of research, ranging from “classical” offers such as continuing education, meeting and convention planning, service & process management and automation & computer sciences to more specialised fields of research, for example fiber optics and sustainable tourism.

Harzer Hochschulgruppe

The Harzer Hochschulgruppe promotes both public and private research and development projects. Core competencies include research, consulting and continuing education for enterprises, public administration and public-law institutions.

The Institute brings tourism companies and associations as well as organizations together on topics of science and research in the tourism industry. The main research areas are: sustainable tourism, corporate social responsibility, international tourism and quality management in the service industries.
