The answer: StuRa!
The student union StuRa , short for the german "Studierendenrat", is an independent and impartial body of the Harz university of applied sciences. We consist of 13 annually elected and some advisory student members.
What does the StuRa do?
Furthermore, we are in close contact with other student unions in order to improve the general study situation. We ensure a fair distribution of the student fees and state subsidies. Thus, events and projects of the initiatives, but also of other student groups, are supported financially, personnel-wise and idealy.
We also encourage and support good ideas how to improve life at the Hochschule Harz!
You want to...
... support other students?
... make a political difference and get involved?
... help with the parties?
... support our social media team?
... have an insight into all areas of the university?
... casual contact with staff and lecturers?
All this you can do in StuRa also as an advisory, not elected member!
Or you can stand for election next winter semester to become an elected member.
If you would like to learn more about us, you are welcome to contact us, come by in our consultation hour or send us a message.
We are looking forward to meeting you!
The Student Union Conference (SRK) is a union of the student unions of the universities in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt.
From our university, up to 3 students from the student body are allowed to participate in each plenary meeting (at least 1x per semester), as we have 3 votes. You would like to be part of it? Write us!
If you want to have access to the rules of procedure, statutes or financial regulations (all german), just write to stura(at)hs-harz.de.
