Prof. Dr. jur. Frank Altemöller is the coordinator of the study program “European Public Management” at Harz University/Germany (University of Applied Studies and Research). He is affiliated with the Law Faculty of University of Münster, where he belongs to a group of scholars that represents the Visiting Faculty of the "Institute of Customs and International Trade Law".
After his studies at law faculties in Münster, Berlin and Geneva, he completed his university education with an interdisciplinary doctorate at the University of Saint Gallen in Switzerland. Frank Altemöller is also working on behalf of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, providing expertise on trade policies, the World Trade System and free trade agreements. He has developed numerous educational programs. In accordance with his research interests, he teaches on issues of global governance, economic integration and regulation, also at the Faculty of Political Sciences (the Otto-Suhr-Institute), the Institute for East-European Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin and universities abroad.
He has published numerous articles in English, Chinese, Russian, Polish and German language and has given guest lectures, e.g., in China, the Russian Federation, the Latin Americas, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
