“Technology and Innovation Management” (M. Eng.)/English track is a course with restricted admissions (NC). It means that only a limited number of eligible applicants could be admitted to it. Our university strives to maintain the education quality at a high level. This can only be granted by admitting a limited number of eligible applicants to the course.
The degree programme "Technology and Innovation Management (M. Eng.)" does not include a mandatory internship.[BW1]
Yet, if you choose to write your master thesis with an enterprise or a research institute, it is considered as a mandatory five-month-internship.
A professor of the faculty must consent to the internship as a part of the master module. This mandatory internship must be fully completed for the student to pass the master module. Statutory holiday entitlements during the internship must be integrated in the five months of the internship.
Voluntary internships are exceeding your study period. This can cause problems when extending your student residence permit. This should be avoided.
