The bachelor's degree programmes (except the two double degree programmes) have a standard course programme. The first three semesters include both interdisciplinary and specific departmental courses. Developing English-speaking skills and imparting key competencies are additional focal points of the programme.

The knowledge acquired in the foundation courses is consolidated during the work placement or studying abroad in the fourth semester. After the fifth and sixth semesters, which focus on determining the students' professional field orientation, the study programme finishes with a work placement, the bachelor's thesis and a colloquium (oral defence of  the bachelor's thesis) in the seventh semester.

Students taking the double degree programmes in International Tourism Studies and International Business Studies spend the fifth and sixth semesters at a foreign partner university. The seventh semester compromises the work placement with the following bachelor's thesis and colloquium which finishes the course of studies.
