Since 2004, the Halberstadt campus has been located right in the town centre. A unique symbiosis between old and new architecture has created a triad of buildings extending from the cathedral to the Liebfrauenkirche. The Faculty of Administrative Sciences began teaching here at the beginning of the 2004/2005 winter semester.
The large auditorium, designed in the style of the British House of Commons, provides ample room for extensive events, often well attended by local and regional residents. In addition to regular language instruction, the Halberstadt campus also provides a language self-study centre for students.
"Domcafete", the Magdeburg student union's university cafeteria, has been completely redeveloped, now providing culinary services for students, staff and external guests.
