Mentoring Programme of the Universities of Applied Sciences

Give your career a strong KaMeHAW!
The doctoral period is an important and sensitive decision-making phase for the academic career of all young academics. Cooling-out processes can occur during and after the doctorate, so that highly qualified and motivated academics leave academia. To counteract this exit from science - primarily of FLINTA1 persons - the universities of applied sciences in Saxony-Anhalt offer the mentoring programme KaMeHAW.

Participation is open and free of charge for all doctoral candidates and post-docs at the HAWs in Saxony-Anhalt. Let the mentoring programme guide you through important career decisions for one year.

Benefit from regular and personal one-to-one meetings with an experienced mentor. Let us support you in developing your career and take advantage of the opportunity for strategic networking. A coordinated framework programme offers you additional qualification and networking opportunities together with other academics in early career phases.

The mentoring programme runs for one year and starts for the first time in March 2024. A maximum of 12 places are available.
