One-Time Flat Energy Payment for Students

Germany’s Federal Government is providing financial assistance to people in education and training with a one-off energy price allowance. As of 15 March 2023, applications are now open nationwide.

2.       an access code, as well as a PIN if applicable

Step by Step instruction

Method 1 (BundID account):

There are three ways to set up a BundID account. We recommend that international students select the first option:

a)    With username, e-mail address, and password:

b)    With online identification of your personal ID. Learn how to set up a BundID account via this method at:

      c)     With your digital residence permit, European eID, or personal ELSTER certificate

Method 2:

In the next few days, you will be able to enter your access code and PIN for the online application portal after entering your u-number and password via HisInOne on the Harz University of Applied Sciences homepage.  

Method 3:

Between 15/03/2023 and 30/09/2023, you can use your BundID account, access code, and PIN (only if you are using method 1 a)) at the portal linked at to enter your bank account information and request the 200 €.
