By car

Coming from Magdeburg take the B81 to Halberstadt.  

Coming from Braunschweig, Goslar and Halle, take the A36.

The Halberstadt campus is located directly in the city centre on Domplatz and is well indicated.

By public transport

Halberstadt central station is easily reached by trains of Deutsche Bahn and ABELLIO Rail Mitteldeutschland GmbH (abellio).

The stop of the long-distance bus provider MeinFernbus FlixBus is located in Kehrstraße in the immediate vicinity of the station. On Mondays you can travel directly from Berlin to Halberstadt; on the other days you can switch to the stops in Blankenburg and Quedlinburg. Current departure times can be found here.

From Halberstadt central station to the campus

The Halberstadt campus is located directly in the old town and is about 3 km from the main railway station.

By tram you can reach the Domplatz easily from the main station; with the line 1 direction Friedhof or with the line 2 direction Sargstedter Weg you go to the Holzmarkt and walk about 350 m to the campus. You can find the route planner here.

You can reach the Halberstadt faculty on foot in about 30 minutes; by bicycle it takes about 9 minutes.
