Studiengangsevaluation

students evaluation

From October 20 to November 8, 2025, we will conduct the student survey using the paper-and-pen method during lectures.

To continuously improve the quality of teaching, course planning, and the organizational framework of studies, as well as to further develop programs at Harz University, the Rectorate regularly conducts student surveys. The aim of these surveys is to assess the overall satisfaction of students and to provide an important empirical basis for university-wide quality management. Every two years, all Bachelor's students from the third semester and Master's students from the first semester provide feedback on strengths and weaknesses. The survey is conducted using a standardized paper questionnaire. The results are passed on to the program coordinators, who then conduct a development workshop together with the students.

The questionnaires being used are currently being updated.

Handling of the Results

The mandatory handling of the results from the student survey is anchored in the evaluation regulations. After receiving the program reports, the program coordinators address the results and discuss them with students and lecturers in workshops. A resulting action plan must be submitted to the Rectorate. The implementation of the measures is also documented and reported to the Rectorate.

This procedure forms the basis for our accreditation.
