Zur Person

Ich bin promovierte Umweltsoziologin und arbeite an der Schnittstelle von Umweltsoziologie, politischer Ökologie/Geologie und Wissenschafts- und Technikforschung (science and technology studies - STS). Meine Forschung konzentriert sich auf gesellschaftliche Einbindung und Beteiligung sowie die Ressourcen-Governance geplanter Bergbauprojekte oder Projekte zur Wiederaufbereitung alter Bergbauhalden (remining oder reprocessing) in Deutschland. Dabei lege ich ein besonderes Augenmerk auf ökologische und soziale (Un-)Gerechtigkeiten sowie globale Verantwortlichkeiten im Kontext der materiellen Basis der Energiewende.

I hold a Ph.D. in environmental sociology and work at the intersection of environmental sociology, political ecology/geology, and science and technology studies (STS). My research focuses on public engagement and participation, as well as resource governance in (re-)mining projects in Germany. This involves a particular focus on ecological and social (in)justices, as well as global responsibilities in the context of the material basis of the energy transition.
