Die Teilnahme von Lehrenden an einer sog. Teaching Week (oder Day) sind im Grunde Kurzzeitdozenturen und können im Rahmen des Erasmus+ Programm an beteiligten Partnerhochschulen als Erasmus-Aufenthalte zu Unterrichtszwecken absolviert werden.
Im Rahmen des Erasmus-Programms können Lehrende eine finanzielle Förderung für eine Kurzzeitdozentur an einer Erasmus+ Partnerhochschule beantragen.
Ziele einer Erasmus-Kurzzeitdozentur sind die Internationalisierung von Studium und Lehre an der Heimat- und Gasthochschule sowie die Stärkung interinstitutioneller Partnerschaften und Netzwerke.

Staff (Training) Weeks finden optimalerweise an Eramus+-Partnerhochschulen statt. Manche Staff Weeks sind thematisch eng begrenzt und richten sich an ein bestimmtes Zielpublikum (z.B. Bibliotheks- oder IT-Personal), andere bieten ein sehr breites Themenspektrum an und stellen dabei die verschiedenen Bereiche der Hochschule vor.
Der Vorteil einer Staff Week besteht darin, dass bereits ein festes Programm geplant wurde und die Partnerhochschule in dem Zeitraum auf Gäste eingestellt ist. So können Sie leicht noch zusätzliche Kontakte knüpfen. Darüber hinaus ist eine Staff Week eine wunderbare Möglichkeit, Kolleg:innen vieler weiterer Hochschulen kennenzulernen, was einen großartigen Ideenaustausch ermöglicht und gute Gelegenheit zum Networking bietet.
Organisierte Staff Weeks dauern normalerweise 5 Tage und die Arbeitssprache ist in der Regel Englisch.
